I studied to be a Beauty Therapist at the London College of Fashion gaining a National Diploma in Beauty Therapy in 1996.  

I gained employment as a Therapist at Holmes Place Health Club in Ealing and worked my way up to becoming the department manager until leaving to travel Australia in 1999.  

Whilst travelling around Australia I gained experience working in two salons in Sydney and Darwin. 

Upon my return to England at the end of 1999 I worked as a temp for the Rose Marie Hadley Agency working at several salons across London before being employed full time the Esporta Health Club in Northwood.

Working at all of these salons allowed me to gain vast experience. I worked with a wide range of products, learning new techniques and perfecting existing skills. I worked with clients from all sections of society and learnt how to provide excellent customer service.

I decided to utilise this knowledge and ability by studying to become a teacher at Uxbridge College in 2000. I qualified with a City and Guilds Teaching Certificate in 2003. Whilst studying I worked as a full time lecturer in the Beauty Department at Uxbridge College and Harrow College.

In 2003 I decided to split my time between teaching and working in a salon. This allowed me to continue helping new Therapists enter the industry and enabled me to keep practising my skills in the environment of a working salon. I worked for the Prestigious Fridolins Salon in Pinner and Stanmore College. I also studied to gain my Certificate in Education, qualifying in 2004.

I am now building my new business from home in order to allow me to spend as much time with my children as possible.
